The company is committed to safeguarding the environment by preventing and minimizing the environmental impact that our activities generate or could generate.

All operational activities and projects are planned and executed considering the precautionary principle and care of environment , in order to contribute to a sustainable development and conservation.

The objective is to minimize emissions and discharges to the air , water and soil ; waste generation and the occurrence of spills, using technology and implementing prevention programs and efficient control. That is to minimize our environmental footprint and protect it for future generations.

Awareness and training programs for employees to perform their duties with integrity practices. Environmental control procedures are executed to achieve environmental monitoring and reporting to the respective goverment authorities.
 

Environmental Monitoring 

In Andalucita S.A., operational activities are controlled by rigorous monitoring programs. They are designed to record the quality of the water, air, surrounding soil and verify the effluent and comply with the allowable emission limits.

Monitoring is conducted twice a year. Evaluating emission points previously defined.

Waste Management and Recycling

Disposal of waste is carried out with special care, in strict compliance with the highest standards.

Waste management is based on the fundamental principle of separation of hazardous elements from those that are not. One of the main pillars of waste management is recycling, which not only contributes to conservation of the environment, but also, in some cases, directly benefit needy children related projects.
